Situated in the outskirts of Alabis, the capital of Darrensmithe, the Royal Stables are home to more than fifty dragons, four hundred saddled horses, and two hundred war ostriches. It is heavily guarded by the Royal Army and employs anywhere between fifty and seventy permanent workers, along with many volunteers, apprentices, and children who want to earn some pocket money.
