Born and raised in Asyyn in a family of farmers, he decided to sell his estate and live an easier life south of Alabis. He bribed his cousin, who worked at the Royal Estate Chamber, then received a concession over large land with a house and a barn for a miserable fee, under an oath that he would produce food for the miners at the Eastern Mountains.
